🌲 Rent a Canoe – Plant a Tree

Starting in 2025, we’re planting one tree for every canoe rental in Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park — and we’ve already begun! Trees are planted locally in and around the Kawartha region to help restore forests, support wildlife, and give back to the land we paddle on.
Why We’re Planting Trees
Nature is at the heart of every canoe trip, and we want to do our part to protect it. Our new tree planting program is a simple but powerful way to reduce our impact, offset emissions, and give back to the beautiful forests of the Kawarthas. When you rent a canoe with us, you’re directly supporting local reforestation — at no extra cost to you. Rent A Canoe – Plant A Tree.

Canoe Rentals That Make a Difference
We believe every trip should leave a positive mark — and with your help, we’re planting hundreds of trees a year.
Whether you’re paddling across Long Lake, exploring Bottle Lake, or venturing deeper into Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park, your canoe rental helps grow the future forest.
🌱 No extra cost to you — we cover the planting! Just book your canoe as usual and we’ll plant a tree for every canoe rented.
Looking Ahead
We’re just getting started! In the near future, we’ll be inviting local landowners to suggest tree planting locations. We also plan to offer free trees for people to plant on their own property. Stay tuned — or contact us if you’d like to get involved!
