Campsites
Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park has over 100 backcountry campsites spread over six recommended loops. Most sites have three tent pads, a designated fire ring, a picnic table, and a privy toilet. Campsites can only be reached by canoe, there are no car campsites in the park. Kawartha Highlands campsites are booked through the Ontario Parks website.
Trips range from introductory routes with minimal or no portaging, to more advanced routes with portages over 1.5 kilometres.
